Delivery Rider
Mahajana Super is seeking reliable Delivery Riders to support our growing online and home delivery operations. You will collect packed orders from the store, follow assigned delivery routes, and provide courteous service at the customer's doorstep. This role suits candidates who are punctual, familiar with local roads, and committed to representing our brand with professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and verify online orders before leaving the store
- Deliver groceries to customers safely, accurately, and within scheduled timeframes
- Handle cash-on-delivery and digital payments according to company procedures
- Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance issues promptly
- Communicate delivery status updates to the store team and customers when required
Requirements
- Valid Sri Lankan driving licence
- Minimum 1 year experience in delivery
- Good knowledge of local routes and ability to use GPS or mobile delivery apps
- Physically fit and able to handle grocery loads in varying weather conditions
- Basic communication skills in Sinhala; Tamil and English are an advantage
